1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between hello gill (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Provider’) and customers who use the Provider's language courses, coaching services or other services.

2. Conclusion of contract

A contract is concluded upon written or electronic registration for a course or service and confirmation by hello gill. By registering, customers accept these GTC as binding.

3. Services

hello gill offers language courses with personalised vocabulary, job coaching and integration services. The content, duration and scope of the services are specified in the respective course or service descriptions. We reserve the right to make changes to the course schedule or teaching staff.

 

4. Participation, rights & obligations 

Customers undertake to attend courses punctually and actively. Personal learning materials are provided by hello gill and are protected by copyright.

 

5. Prices & payment terms

The current prices are published on the hello gill website. Payments are generally due in advance or in accordance with the agreed instalment plan. All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF).

 

6. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are made in accordance with the refund policy published on the website. If you do not show up without cancelling, you are not entitled to a refund.

7. Right of withdrawal 

Consumers are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal under Swiss law, where applicable.

8. Liability

hello gill is not liable for personal belongings, travel or consequential costs. Participation in courses is at your own risk. hello gill is only liable for damages in cases of intent or gross negligence.

9. Data protection

The protection of personal data is regulated in hello gill's privacy policy. Customer data is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties, unless required by law.

10. Copyright

Course documents, materials and content remain the property of hello gill. Distribution or reproduction is only permitted with written consent.

 

11. Changes to the GTC

hello gill reserves the right to change these GTC at any time. The version valid at the time of conclusion of the contract is authoritative.

 

12. Applicable law & place of jurisdiction

These GTC are subject to Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of hello gill, unless mandatory statutory provisions dictate otherwise.

13. Severability clause

Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
